1.1. PC=A Person
1.1.1.
All warriors in the MechWarrior4 Vengeance League (MW4VL) shall operate under a "PC = A Person" (PCAP) mentality. PCAP is a simple way of thinking in which you as a member of the league understand that there is a real, living human being behind every "personality" that you meet online. When you are in a chat room, there is a person behind the handle. When you are on the message boards, there is a person behind the posts. When you are in a game, there is a person piloting that battlemech, etc.
Все воины в MW4VL должны придерживаться правила Компьютер=Игрок (КИ; PC=A Person; PCAP). КИ это довольно простой образ мышления, когда вы, являясь членом Лиги, понимаете, что за каждым персонажем в игре стоит реальный человек. Когда вы сидите в чате, всегда есть кто-то за ником. Когда пишете на форуме, есть кто-то за каждым сообщением. Когда сражаетесь в бою, есть человек в каждом мехе и т.д.
Underlying this understanding of PCAP, is that the human being behind the PC has feelings, ambitions, desires and needs just like any other real live human being. Therefore, we expect that you treat those personalities with every socially accepted behavior that you would employ to a person you were face to face with.
Предпосылкой правила КИ является то, что у каждого человека есть чувства, желания, гордость и нужды. Таким образом мы надеемся, что вы будете относиться к людям в игре так же как относитесь к тем, с кем вы встречаетесь в реале.
Additionally, we understand that the computer is impersonal in conveying expressions, emotions and states-of-mind thus, we expect members to take all communications in the best possible light, assuming, ALWAYS, that the person "speaking" has the best intentions, and does not intend to offend.
В то же время мы понимаем, что компьютер неспособен передавать чувства, эмоции и мысли человека, поэтому мы предполагаем, что все общение будет вестись непринужденно, предполагая, что другой человек ВСЕГДА имеет дружественные намерения и не хочет оскорбить.
Remember that there are many young players, or persons of faith that may be a part of our league therefore use appropriate language: no profanity, no overt or insinuated sexual statements, no racial statements. In general, conduct yourself professionally, and treat others the way you want to be treated.
Помните, что в Лиге много молодых людей и, возможно, верующих, так что старайтесь не использовать ругательств, расовых оскорблений и прочего подобного. В целом старайтесь относиться к другим так, как хотите, чтобы относились к вам.
